NOBALIS team from Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technology (LBTU) compared the innovation ecosystems of NOBALIS partners in the presentation at the 5th World Congress of Latvian Scientists. The presentation discussed the challenges related to various innovation ecosystem elements in the HEIs. The analysis was based on innovation system assessments NOBALIS partners conducted in the first phase of the project in the fall of 2022. The results indicated a need for a more integrated innovation support system, to engage and support the non-academic staff, and the importance of facilitation of prototyping and commercialization opportunities for different stakeholders.
